Step-down supported living for adults aged 18 and over. Not acutely unwell, but not yet safe to live independently. Delivered by Angel Oak Care Ltd (AOC), NCC DPS Approved Provider, with housing provided by Unity.
There is a critical gap in the system: adults who have stabilised after crisis or hospital discharge but are not yet safe to live independently. Without the right support at this stage, they cycle back into crisis.
Recovery Housing fills that gap. A short-term step-down supported living environment (typically 4 to 12 weeks) where people can stabilise, rebuild confidence, and prepare for the next step.
Important
Recovery Housing is not a crisis house. We do not accept acute crisis placements requiring emergency containment or constant observation.
Adults who have stabilised after a mental health crisis and need a calm, structured environment to continue recovery.
Individuals discharged from hospital who need support before living independently. Preventing readmission through structured step-down.
People leaving care who need a safe, stable place to recover and build the skills for independent living.
Not acutely unwell, but not yet safe to live independently. Adults in that critical gap where the right support makes all the difference.
